Remembering Dr. King Celebration at CU-Boulder – Monday, Jan. 21, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.

St. Aidan’s is sponsoring, along with 10 other campus organizations, a public, community celebration that is kid-friendly and great for all ages. There will be a reception before the celebration at 3 p.m., and then Dr. King: Remembering His Life, Renewing His Legacy starts at 4 p.m. and lasts about an hour. The keynote speaker will be Hon. Gary Jackson, the first black prosecutor in the State of Colorado and the first black judge in Denver County. The celebration will take place at the CU-Boulder UMC, Glenn Miller Ballroom (Euclid Parking Garage).

This free event is sponsored by the University of Colorado’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement (ODECE), St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, the Lutheran Campus Minister, CU Boulder Hillel, the Center for Western Civilization, Thought & Policy, and the city of Boulder Housing and Human Services and more.
