Get Involved
Because online scams are more and more common, we are reducing the number of email contacts on our webpage. Please reach out in person if you have an interest in connecting with a ministry, reach out to a staff email, or speak in person on a Sunday to one of the clergy or other leaders.
VESTRY STATEMENT
Our congregation is fully LBGTQ+ affirming. LGBTQ+ people are welcome to participate fully in our communal life and may take on leadership positions, be married, and receive all the means of grace available to all members of the community.
Volunteer for CU Football Games
We need 4-6 volunteers every game day to help manage our parking lot. Please reach out to office@saintaidans.org to let us know if you’d like to volunteer for Football Parking in 2026.
Every individual volunteer for a game is giving the equivalent of thousands of dollars toward the St. Aidan’s Operating budget. This is another way to pledge and to support your church. Thanks to all our volunteers for a successful Fall 2025 season!
Leadership
The Vestry
The Vestry is our governing body, guiding the business and affairs of the church. Members are elected by the parish. Contact rector@saintaidans.org.
VISIONING FOR THE FUTURE
In the Spring of 2022, St. Aidan's began a season of discernment and planning for the future to navigate forward as a congregation serving the CU Campus for the next 75 years. If you’re curious about this process, read more here or ask M. Mary Kate or any member of the Vestry for the most recent update.
Endowments Committee
The Endowment Committee determines how endowment funds are invested. Contact rector@saintaidans.org.
Campus Ministry Support
Campus Ministry Support is available for those who enjoy working with students and supporting the Bread and Belonging dinners on Tuesday evenings. Roles include serving as a regular Host at Bread+Belonging on Tuesday evenings, or supporting the meal during the months of October and February. Contact chaplain@saintaidans.org.
Serving & Connecting Groups
Sing in the Choir at St. Aidan's!
St. Augustine said, "[one] who sings, prays twice," and what a gift it is to pray and to sing.
The Choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 9am (with reduced rehearsals in the summer). Music on Sundays semi-regularly Bluegrass and Gospel music. St. Aidan’s has a choral scholar program with CU Boulder that brings significant talent from nearby music students to our choir. All are welcome to sing praises and be part of making music! Contact music@saintaidans.org.
Altar Guild
Members of this ministry care and prepare the Altar, Sanctuary, elements, and linens for worship services. Contact kim@saintaidans.org for more information.
Dinner Groups
In the fall, those who are interested can sign up to be a part of a Dinner Group, which will gather 3-5 times over the Fall and Spring. Groups are organized to try to best accommodate location, different needs (such as children, or meeting at lunch instead of dinner). If you are curious about joining a group mid-year, please contact office@saintaidans.org and you’ll be connected to the Dinner Group Coordinators.
Eucharistic Ministry
These people receive training and take the Eucharist out to those who cannot attend church to receive the sacraments. Contact rector@saintaidans.org.

Episcopal Women Navigating Life Solo
Sundays after church and at other times
Navigating practical and emotional issues can be challenging for single women, whether single by choice, by death of a spouse, or by divorce. Some of us may have questions regarding legal documents, tax returns, financial security. Others may have challenges related to loneliness or managing health needs. And all of us must plan for adjustments to personal health and housing as we age. As singles, women also have significant opportunities for personal growth, engaging in new activities, and developing new friendships. Navigating Life Solo, led by Mary Kraus and Kay Cook provides a community for single women at St Aidan’s who are interested in exploring these and other topics in a collaborative and supportive fashion. We also provide a social gathering to promote closer connections. Fill out this interest form to be added to the contact list.
Young Adults fellowship
Gather Boulder is a developing and new group for young adults (20s-30s) from several local congregations. Follow on Instagram @gatherboulder for more ways to connect for community, fun, and curiosity.
sunday worship and other services
If you’d like to help with our Sunday Worship by reading, acolyting, ushering, welcoming, or being trained to help serve the communion chalice, please speak to one of the Clergy on a Sunday at church, and we will connect you with Jennie Garcia, the Head Verger for St. Aidan’s. Volunteers serve about once a month, and for special services like Christmas, Epiphany, All Faithful Departed, and Holy Week and Easter.

Creation Care Group
We came together at St. Aidan's in August 2020 to study Climate Change and to learn about protecting, renewing and caring for our Planet. Accomplishments include labeling bins to reduce waste, replacing inefficient lighting to save energy, participating in the 11th-hour bell ringing in solidarity with local churches, and offering eco-sustainable tips in the bulletin. We continue to meet occasionally or work together on special projects.

Wednesday 10am Bible Study provides a midweek opportunity to study and explore the Bible together. Contact the Clergy to be connected to the leader of this Bible Study.
